I believe one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship we build together. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, laughing when it happens, and showing up exactly as you are.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds, each with their own experiences, strengths, and challenges. Alongside clinical training, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a genuine interest in getting to know you.
Solara is a neurodivergent-affirming practice. Whether you arrive overwhelmed, distracted, exhausted, or unsure where to begin, you're welcome here. Therapy doesn't have to look a certain way. We'll find an approach that works for you.
Helping you reconnect with yourself.
At Solara Psychotherapy, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be yourself. You don't need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, we'll work together to better understand what's going on and find an approach that feels right for you.
My goal is simple: to help you understand yourself with more clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.
The relationship we build together matters. Here's what you can expect when we work together.
What you share with me stays private, with a few legal exceptions that we'll go over in our first session. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, knowing your privacy is respected.
Therapy isn't about being the "perfect" client. Whether you're feeling angry, ashamed, overwhelmed, numb, or completely stuck, you're welcome here. You don't have to filter yourself or worry about saying the wrong thing.
There's no deadline for therapy. Some sessions move quickly, while others are quieter or slower. We'll move at a pace that feels manageable, rather than pushing before you're ready.
I show up as a real person. Therapy doesn't have to feel formal or distant. While our relationship is professional, I believe genuine human connection matters. I'll bring curiosity, honesty, and warmth to our work together.
You won't be told what to do in therapy with me. We'll work together to understand what's happening, explore your options, and find an approach that feels right for you.
Feeling emotionally safe is important. My goal is to create a space where you can ask questions, be honest, laugh, cry, swear, sit quietly, or simply not know what to say. There's room for all of it.
